***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Chicks are still hatching & Taron has already picked out a few keepers as she is peeking through the hatcher door with a flashlight.
Nana of course I am taking it easy, building a house when I am restricted from lifting, bending, twisting or stretching sounds easy for me!!! The way I see it is I will be real good at shopping & running a tape measure. Honestly, DH is prob doing over 50% of the labor so this won't be a quick project. I am thinking 2yrs until move in.

I have 92.....turkeys, BSL, Birchen and Wheaten Marans, Silkies, Sicilian Buttercups, Arkansas Blues, Salmon Favorelles, Araucanas, Americaunas, and two of the olive eggs NN x Americauna (I kept from one of the two Ameraucanas that countryhen now has)and Cayuga ducks...lol thats a lot of dang eggs!

Birchen Marans? - sounds pretty, What does the roo look like?
Jack, my neighbor, has Black Copper, Gold Salmon, Cuckoo, Wheaten and Blue Marans. I think the Wheaten are my favorite but the Blues are a close second. When I told Jack about the Coweta auction and Golden Cuckoo Marans he got curious and thinks we should plan a trip to that auction.

Kass, is there a section of the forum or a certain thread where I can treat my crochet addiction? I hadn't crocheted in a while and I needed a few fresh props for my clients. So I started crocheting and can't stop or slow down! Lol. I just found some killer deals on eBay and went yarn crazy. And my room is covered in projects. Lol
It went from props to backdrops for newborns to gifts for all my friends. Ha!

Quote: All I have are eggs at this point...but I like the marans the best, wheaten being my fave, then blues, then birchen, then....lol who am I kidding I like them all! don't know if I will make the Coweta auction again unless DH starts flying out of Tulsa again...He switched his flights to fort smith cause it's only an hour or so away, instead of three.
here is an internet pic of a birchen...
