Good Morning, pretty darn cold here.
Hope we are having POOPS this yr, I have missed it every time so far. SOME day I'll get there if they don't quit having it.
Have a tiny peeper talking to me from the incubator this AM, expecting Bemgian Quail d'Anver chicks tomorrow.
Does anyone else raise these and if so what colors do you have?
Is there a list somewhere of who raises what here in OK?

It is probably at the FFA barn, same place as the Newcastle auctions.

That's what we were hoping. Hubby and I are going to make the drive over. I know Carl and several others will have birds on display.

and the cooking begins , beans ham hock and cornbread going now , homemade taco salad shells , dumplin dough for chicken and dumplins, fry bread dough for indian tacos , hamburger meat pattied out , hamburger defrosted for nachos indian tacos and taco salads , burriotos ready for burrito plate , batter ready for funnel cakes , still gotta cut up onions, tomatoes , and lettuce , and get the stew going but might do beef tips n noodles instead with homemade brown gravy

And what is your address? mmmmm..........mmmmmmm! Just might have to head east and go visit some family soon.

The girls were getting boxes ready for the auction & someone showed up & bought all the chicks that hatched. Guess we will try to make Newcastle next wk. hope everyone has a good time at the sale.

Oh my!!! No Newcastle sale next wk!!!! We are goin to have chicks & ducks hatching Friday. Thanks for letting my know MJ. Guess I should have stuck with the plan to go tonight. Look forward to seeing you all in a couple wks.
We had a late bloomer hatch & looks like I may have a single chick until next wk. Lonely chicks make me so sad, maybe I will let him hang out with the ducks that are hatching today.
