***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Evening all, I want to thank all of you for the prayers and kind words, I regret to say that mu cousin passed away on her way to the Heart Hosp in Houston. thank you all again! Have a blessed day!!! Lynn
Will keep you & your family in our prayers. may the Lord give you peace at this time.

i know this is not a chicken but could not rest sharing because she looks so cute in her goat coat.
So cute!!
Carebear how many hen ducks do you have? I'd tend to believe just from the pic that at least one of those is a duck egg! The one on the left, has a white streak on it. Usually duck eggs are a little off white like that and have a kind of "greasy" feel to them and often you will see the "grease film" scartched away like that! May be wrong but just say-in!lol Donnie you don't want to go to work in no place like that where everything is done one way! You have to much culinary skill to jsut do things by the bopok one way! Now maybe a mom and pop restaruant ,that would be a better ideal for you. Just let us know when it opens so we can bust the doors down and fill the joint up!lol Got out and put the wire on my coop i made the other day. Got the rumpless birds in it. Sure like the looks of the EE roo. He may be pure bred but I don't like the Araucanna-EE debate so I just call the all ee!lol
You know maybe one is from the duck. They were in the same nest and both had the same color. One just slightly larger than the other. I'm a complete newbie, so I was just guessing both from the chicken. Guess I should wonder if they even lay two at a time.

Lynn - Prayers for the repose of your cousin and for the family. We are called when He needs us.

Doodle - Sorry to hear your wife has the BUG. I had it, still have a little bit of it, for about a month. I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow after school. Hope your wife feels better soon.

Birds are confused about the weather. I am too. Snow one day, sunshine the next. . . Oklahoma weather is never boring.

Looking for a cure for Senioritis. Anybody know one? Symptoms include inattention, loquaciousness, failure to follow instructions, denial of having received instructions, denial of ever receiving ANY instructions, ever. . . and a general funk that permeates the space around each senior. "Go away, " says the funk. "Just let me sit here. I'm a senior. I know it's only February, but I'm finished doing school work." What we need is a spray vaccine, one that can be distributed disguised as air freshener.

Senioritis has no cure until May when they realize those last credits count! In the meantime, you have to listen to their ears whistle when they talk.

Rain started about 5:30 this morning...at least that's when both dogs hit the bed and snuggled up. Red has been frightened of thunder ever since we had the big earthquakes. The sounds sends him into panic shakes so our bed became a vibrator bed. That wouldn't be so bad except he wants his head as close to your face as he can get it...kind of hard to sleep with dog breath. So I got up , took them outside for a quick potty break and now both dogs are in my recliner with me. Sheesh!
hope everyone is prepared for all the rain, ice and snow...stay warm and safe.
