***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I have heard cramps are from a lack of Vitamin K, and also that a tsp of ACV a day helps as well.
I drink a mixture of raw honey, Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) and warm water twice a day and I have no cramps anymore. Before I took this I used to drink cold dill pickle juice, it stops the cramps immediately

the serama pullet is 5 1/2 mounths old and could start laying anytime

yes i should have trimed the blue brassy spure sorry about that there are a couple of ways to do it
you can sawl it off about 1/2 inch long
you can twist it off this will make it bleed but it will quickly heal leaving a new small spure
twist it off? by hand?

Blanchard sale was packed, people were even parking on the rd. We just got home & they had not even started selling grown bird yet. Prices were pretty high. The kids would have stayed a few more hours, but I was exhausted. Was good to see all the BYCers that I haven't seen in a long time. We plan on being at Newcastle next wk, maybe then we will be able to enjoy the whole sale.

No Blanchard sale April 27th.
It was good to see you back at the sale....jcat ...I didnt make it in tel 4 ,,had a good time talking with all the BYcers seen Al he had brot in a big load of stuff an said he had some nice barrels for sale .that are made to keep show birds in...

We went to the Blanchard auction. We picked up 2 buff orps, cold eggs, and a ready made plastic brooder. The prices were very high $37 for one hen... I left my phone so we couldn't let everyone know what we were wearing so we could see other BYCers. Is this how high prices are during spring time?
