KrazyKat , those pheonix chicks you got from me, will you watch them closely please lol , i was looking in the brooder today and i believe i have no roos left lol but will see for sure in a little time so if you got a couple id trade you out of one with a pullet if these 20+ are all pullets lol ....

so looks like roos are going to be scarce around here

Woke this AM @4 to chicks screaming because they were hatching in the incubator that was still turning. Taron says they were suppose to go on lock down today, so guess that means we just had 4 rouge chicks.
I think next yr we should keep an okie thread hatch count. Just imagine the thousands of chicks that are hatched between all of us.
Waiting now to see Dr. Evidently there was a high speed chase in Lawton & half the rds were closed. Complete craziness, imagine we will hear all about it on the news.
 
I have a small bowl full of those little tiny guinea and chicken eggs. They are usually first eggs of a young pullet or last eggs of an older hen. I always keep them because they're so "cute."
