you could always plant something on the chicken side.. the goats could eat whatever reached them, but the chickens could still have shade.
Hello from Ninnekah Ok! Fairly new to chickens, have several BO and some random chicks to see which ones id like more of lol. Anyone close by?
Joe - wonderful to see you. Thanks for showing me around. I'm missing Orson. He used to follow me and talk to me as I filled water containers in the pens at the barn. He always got along with the others, so he had more free-range time. Andrea has a nice place. I'd love to bring birds on a dry day. . . maybe this event will happen again : )
it was so nice to get to visit I wish we had more time I still had lost to show you but I find myself extermly busy these days all the birds are settled in nicely and I have already gotten 3 eggs im looking forward to our next visit
Donnie - great to get to see you agin it has been a long time sorry I did not get to talk more but that's how it gose when you are working
krazy - its always good to see you and I hope your move gose smoothly
yea, i guess that would work, and sunflowers would be cool then the chickens could eat the seed also.you could always plant something on the chicken side.. the goats could eat whatever reached them, but the chickens could still have shade.![]()
You could always plant sunflowers on one side for shade too...
l like the beads cool patterns i like the blue and black the best. It's cold out there todayBirds asked me to turn up the heat.![]()
We're expecting rain and a drop in temperature. Barn cats look extra puffy, almost as if they put on an extra coat. Track and golf events are going to confuse the schedule a bit. Wish we had event days rather than combined school and event days. It's a nightmare keeping up with team members. Beaded design projects turned out well : ) Paper Mache sculpture is next.

Wouldn't count on that!!!!! When I planted a whole patch of sunflowers the greedy wild birds scarfed them all up before the chickens could get one seed. I really didn't mind the chickens are well fed and the wild birds need to eat too, but I have heard you can bag the flowers after pollination while the seeds are maturing.yea, i guess that would work, and sunflowers would be cool then the chickens could eat the seed also.
Back when my neighbor kids were young I would do crafts w/ them some. We made paper mache bowls over balloons for the shape, then after they dried we painted them, the kids had a ball. It's cold out there todayBirds asked me to turn up the heat.![]()
