***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Oh No! POOPS is the only weekend we have plans. Our brother from China will be in the states then. Hate to miss this--we've been to all except the very first one! Hope everyone has a great time!
Oh bummer, You sure will be missed!

Had a really good time with all the BYCers at the Newcastle auction. We learned alot. Hubby probably paid more attention to what was going on than me, but said that I didn't miss much. The fifty pound turkey was huge. Hubby would have loved him for dinner. lol Can't wait for POOPS.

Our daughter really wanted to go home with some new chicks. Hubby put the foot down that we can't get hatchlings till after our trip to Disney World in May.

Can someone please tell me what's wrong with this hen? It just started a couple of days ago. I just wormed them 2 days ago. None of the others are acting strange. She's a 2yr old Easter Egger. Let me know if the link doesn't work.

Ear infection?  External parasites?

Was thinking ear mites...

Kass, I'm jealous you have an iris bloom already. Mine do not have flower stalks yet. I have 2 wisteria and the younger one is going to give me blooms but the older one is already leafing out.
I was at the Myriad garden yesterday and saw they plant tulips and daffodils in the same clump so they bloom together. Gave me inspiration for this fall's planting.
I ordered some old fashioned daylilies a couple weeks ago. I love those things.

I have tons of iris but that is my only one even close to blooming, have no idea why that one is so ahead of all the rest.

I really want to make a trip to the Myriad gardens.

Iris is my fave flower. I have white, black, and dark mauve ones right now. I ordered some more bulbs when I ordered the daylilies.

They did some nice remodeling at the myriad garden. I was excited to see a boxwood maze but unfortunately the shrubs are about 2 feet tall right now.

I took a friend to the public farmers market on Klein Ave on Saturday telling her how great it was b/c there would be multiple nursery vendors. :( but things have changed there too since last time I was there. There was only one plant vendor.

Anybody going to the Jenks Herb & Plant Festival in a couple of weeks?
