Don't give up yet.Besides, who wants a green thumb anyway? Real gardeners have brown thumbs. (From working in the dirt)

After the ground warms up, there should be more to come up and you can start over with them. Mine come up all through the summer.

The talk of bees and kids reminded me that my next youngest brother, when he was maybe three to five years old, used to pick honey bees off the flowers. My father had an extensive flower garden in Oregon, so there were lots of honey bees. Jim would pick them off the flowers with his bare hands and none ever stung him. Sometimes he'd open his little hand and there would be as many a five live bees in it. Maybe he should have become a bee keeper. He's always had a way with animals, and is the only one of my brothers who ever raised poultry.
That is really cool!
Whichever scientist that decided time flows at the same rate always, obviously never put hatching eggs in lockdown.
I know the feeling! Chicks, waiting for the weekend. Time seems to crawl.
Hi all! I am new to join the site, I posted in the new member introduction area already. It seems like everyone here is like one big family which is nice. My husband and I are wanting to start raising chickens for eggs as well as meat. But before we can decide on what we actually want and do any more research than what i have already done, I need to find out if there is a difference in the Tulsa County vs Tulsa City laws/ordinances, as we live in Tulsa County, not Tulsa City. We also have just under a 1 1/2 acres, and i was reading the other day that it also depends on how the lot is zoned. if any one could point me in the right direction it would be awesome! thank you for letting me butt in :)
Welcome to Okie BYC!!!
We have pipping and peeping!!!!!!!! No zipping yet, but can't be very long now!!!!!!
Whoot! Whoot!
