i still have 2 more moma goats to go. wish they would hurry up the suspense is killing meLynn awesome news on your wife!
I think goats & chickens make great companions. Goats hate food that is dropped on the ground, but the chickens are there to scratch for any crumbs.
Today I looked down speckled Sussex eggs (some under a hen others in the hatcher). So far have had 7 call ducks hatch!!!! They were shipped eggs so I am thrilled! Also had my last doe of the season kid. A buckling & an adorable doe. Momma goat has always been wild & crazy, so she is on the short list. Of course she is a great momma, but that brings our goat total to 17.
I will have to get some pics this weekend.
wazine at a feed store- ivermectin pour-on for cattle, use it like frontline a few drops on the skin usually between the feathers-
i solved the mystery with my cochin- worms... in isolation i could check her droppings- ewww yuk! so she and her buddy, a cochin she was raised with are in the spare room getting wormed- she is actually drinking on her own too- i used safeguard, should i switch it out with wazine?
