Quote: i have heard alot of good results with solar spikes for gophers from the guinea folks - http://www.amazon.com/Sweeneys-Gopher-Solar-Spike-S9014/dp/B0013E3TXC

been a rough few days here, lost staypuff yesterday, not sure what all it was but when we had those few heat advisory days she started tilting her head and going in circles, thought i caught it in time, but yesterday her neck curled real bad and she was gone. Then I lost Captain today, i had been hoping to pull him through what i think was MG, but he just got too weak to fight it- Dora the Cochin that was with him is recouperating, but i assume she will always be a carrier?

and on a happier note, had a little duccle hatch, after 2 power outages this guy was the only one, so i gave him to a broody serama-

also, i have 4 bantam faverolle chicks for sale if anyone is interested-

Sorry about staypuff and captain.

You tried hard hope you find some comfort in that.

My little BLRW cockerel swallowed a small snake whole and I don't think it was dead. I know they'll eat snakes, lizards, and mice but swallow 'em whole alive?

That is the way mine do.

One of the many cool things about have NN chickens is you can actually watch it go down the esophagus.

Here is a crochet block I'm working on for an exchange based on cancer awareness colors. I've been working out the pattern and have come up w/ one I like.
