Cathie Sue, do you have a tpost driver yet? If not, you can borrow mine. For such a simple thing, it's one of the best tools I ever bought.

I'm going to try to bring the girls to the Coweta auction Friday night.

Who else is coming to the auction?

We stretch by using two 2 x 4 boards that are sandwiched onto the fencing and bolted together. We drilled the holes for the bolts by clamping the boards together and drilling thru both boards so the holes line up. We use a come-a-long on the 2x4s to position the fence on the corner boards.

Ok, dad probably knows but I don't know what a come-a-long is?

It is a ratchet with a hook and cable that you use to tighten a fence or barb wire strand so it can be tied off.
Same premise as a ratchet on a tie down for a strap on a load.....Dustin posted a great photo.

I'll be there, but one of my granddaughters is under the weather, so I'll be bidding solo.

I'll only be there for a minute to pick up some chicks from someone about 8:30. Coral I can bring you boys then in the middle or I can save them for you for another time unless you want to come pick them up when you leave the auction. Friday is totally packed for me- last minute repairs at the old house (WE HAVE A BUYER YAY!), daughter has dance pictures, etc.

Bringing the boys at 8:30 works for me. I would also like to buy a small jar of raw honey for my friend at work.

OK I don't have honey yet though. We have honey boxes on a few hives and are adding more this weekend. Traditionally our first extraction is the last weekend in May.
