I have a busy week, but this is the only week Ihave to do it.
the pic I have is on my phone and no matter what I did to upload it, I finally discovered that by browser in my phone wasn't compatable with this sight to upload.
Can I get directions? Thats a big area.
Thanks

Mad. Mad. Mad. Mad. Mad. Mad. Mad.

I let the flock out to freerange at 7:30 this morning. I went in, did some dishes, and took some fruit rinds out for them around 8:30. First thing I noticed was Phtheven sitting on my porch rail next to the door, and he wasn't budging. When I got down off the porch I spotted the pile of white that was Turkey Lurkey. I found Raven a little farther out. Then my partridge English Orp. Blossom is wounded and missing feathers. There are piles of multi-colored feathers everywhere. And my cuddly black English Orp Sunshine is missing. I'm hoping he's in hiding, but it's possible he was chased into the creek.

Let's see, around 8:00, piles everywhere like it was a huge, crazy chase for fun, and whatever it was ran in, went crazy, then disappeared like it was called home... I asked my neighbor about that little demon dachsund and she denied it and IMMEDIATELY told me about these strange dogs she saw last night. Which is exactly what she did last time.

I'm not stupid; this is the exact same pattern as last time. The game cam is now trained on the corner of my yard closest to their house. They better pray I never catch that dog over here because it will never make it back home.

So, so sorry!! You might lie in wait with your gate open some morning to see what shows up and take care of the problem then. The challenge with the cam alone is that he will get in and out and you will have lost more of your babies!

Please explain..

This is only for eggs you are hatching that are about ready or over ready to hatch. You put them in a glass of warm water (you want it pretty close to the temp of the egg) if there is a live chick inside the egg will bob and move, if no live chick it will not. You have to give it a moment for the egg to quit bobbing just from your putting it in the water.

You gonna try it. If mine are dead crack them open to see how far they got.

I always open non hatched eggs after a hatch, well except for those that are liquidy when I light candle just prior to opening he egg

I floated them and there was no movement. I'll have Sandy crack them open when he gets off. I don't have the stomach for that.

You know I don't mind necropsies or butchering or sticking my hand in chicken poo on accident but I absolutely HATE opening unhatched eggs. I don't know what it is but it's not for me.

We went to the Blanchard Auction Saturday. Got a trio of Americaunas and a trio of Rhodebar chicks. There wasn't many there. Most hatching eggs went about 1.75 and same for chicks. Can't wait for all to be laying.
