Amazingly I still have some green grass in my yard. I haven't found any cracks, but there are quite a few tread marks from the tractor. Lol. We have been under water rationing for over a month now. They sent the notice out the day after we decided to drain the pool and move it. Now I can't fill it back up.
Looked at some land around the corner from me and it looks like we will be relocating there. Cannot wait! Insurance and other stuff sure is moving very slow!!!! Think'n i will be locating an attorney to if we can speed this process up. Had to make one payment on a house that is supposedly totaled, gonna have to make another one soon, maybe not!

You have found a wonderful group of folks who either live in Oklahoma or wish they lived in Oklahoma
Sounds like you are off to a good beginning on a laying flock. Have you ever considered adding ducks or peacocks to your backyard flock? Would you like to attend some poultry auctions? There will be a wonderful auction next Saturday, 7/2 at Cement. It begins at 5:00 and they have the equivalent of swamp coolers there to take the edge off the heat.

Back when I was around 14 years old I got my first pure bred bantams. I got a pair of RIR bantamsn from a Lee Johnson in Arapaho. I have had bantams almost ever since then, and have always wanted some more of the RIRs but never found any I liked. I picked up a pair at Blanchard Sat. night. I think they are very nice quality and hope to start raising some out of them. Here is the rooster. http://i54.tinypic.com/2vi46e8.jpg
