Thanks for the report on Harrah. I considered going - but decided it was way too hot. Glad they moved everything outside. Inside was just too hot, even with the fans.

jcatblum,,

Thanks for coming out and buying some of our birds sorry you had to see the place in such disarray... its a eye sore at the moment until we can get everything all organized, sold or taken to the dump.... I do hope your DD will enjoy my Cochin I thought she always looked like a Opera Singer which is why I named her the Fat Lady...

Again thank you for a easy sale... may the birds bless you with lots of eggs

We have everyone settled in. Had a stern talk with one of the rir, followed me from the barn to the house, then decided the peafowl pen is better than the barn. Got her back to the barn, hope she doesn't wonder back up here. I just worry about her not being able to find water if she is out wondering too far. The Cochin went straight to digging in the dirt for bugs. Got her pretty feathered feet all dirty! I am sure they will all thrive well & have many happy years chasing grasshoppers around our place.

Good luck selling off the rest, I know it is a huge project to tackle. If you decide the dog would be best staying in Oklahoma, I am sure he would do well with our boys out here.

I am so thankful the army has allowed us to stay at Ft sill since 1998, a pcs move would turn our world upside down! We have had so many friends come & go. Not sure how we have remained here so long!

Late Morning Everyone!

Well I am now the owner of Naked Necks but hopefully not for long. Ended up with two big roosters, 5 hens and 11 babies of various ages. Decided to keep one little hen just so I can have a bugly chicken running around.

Going to be heading out to Cement in a few hours. I was going to be bringing a few EEs but I have loaned out so many of my carriers I do not have anyway of bringing them.

Also if anyone is interested the guy I bought the NNs from has some malard ducks he is wanting to get rid of. He has one drake and 4 hens. I think he would take $25 for all of them. The hens are laying like mad, from what the guy said. If anyone who is going to be at Cement wants them let me know and I can pick them up on the way out today. K?

Better go take care of the critters. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and stay safe, it is going to be horribly hot out again today.
