***OKIES in the BYC III ***

A Farmville friend posted this on facebook and I just had to share it.

Check your shampoo bottle label. I don’t know WHY I didnt figure this out sooner!!!! It's the shampoo I use in the shower! When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my whole body and (duh!) printed very clearly on the shampoo label! FOR EXTRA VOLUME AND BODY! NO wonder I have been gaining weight! Well! I have gotten rid of that shampoo and I am going to start using Dawn dish soap instead. Their label reads, DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE

Muesky,
If you need to use a cage, carrier, or anything else just swingby and get what you need. I think we may have one of your small carriers anyway. But we do have several small to large cages that you are more than welcome to use.

It is another tough day for sure, went out to water and check feeders, we lost all of the Silver sebrights except 1 hen, and a few other birds i had set asside for future breeders. This heat is getting unbearable, I woul drather have the cold at least i can put the heat on when its cold you just can't cool coops well.

Lost my young blue Orp. roo yesterday, only two losses due to heat and they both have to be my only Orp. roosters. guess I'm looking for a blue roo. again. It was a long wait last time. On a better note my Brahmas have started laying again 3 eggs a day from 6 hens, not bad for this heat.

Thanks for the offer. Found one of my carriers stashed on the back deck but I think I am going to keep what I have for now of the EEs. Sorry to hear about loosing so many of your birds.

This weather is horrid. So far, no losses this week, which is mainly due to the 25 cent sprinkler hose I have set up. There is so much I need to get done before school starts back up but I just can't with it being so hot outside. Oh well, eventually I will get it done.

Well I better start getting ready to head to Cement. It is about an hour and a half drive, so I need to be heading out by 3. Look forward to see everyone there. Just remember I have NN for sale.

Nah, didn't figure they would. If you want em come get em! You lost any more birds since I was there? I've only lost about 12-14 young birds since this started. Haven't lost anything that was grown.

Just got in from the local auction. Did fairly well with what I took. Spent less than I made so that is always good!lol. Bought a nice little pt taxi and two young chocolate muscovys which turned out to be a pair! So I think now I am set with what I want on muscovys. Have a grown drake and three hens and a jr drake and two hens. Didn't want to try and go thru winter with just one drake. (Wow did I say winter!lol)
Its cooler here and cloudy. Rained all around but we only got sprinlkes.
Wife and MIL are both dozing so I guess THEY will be up all night!

Jarvis sorry about your loss. Boy this has been a bad summer for the poultry business. I wonder how the broiler houses are doing in the eastern part. I bet they are haveing massive losses.
