Ok, so we need to put together a chicken train from this area (Shawnee, OKC etc) to Sooner / kassandra.
Does anyone plan on going that direction this weekend or next week?
I have 1 LF Black Cochin that needs to go see Madison (Lil-sooner) for show season, as well as some seeds for a fall garden..

Ok I am getting ready to get off work so I will check back later tonight (soccer practice) in the mean time I will talk to my mom & see if there is any chance she can drive the truck next weekend when she comes if so then that will take care of it unless Buckguy is coming to see his family this weekend.

Kassaundra, are you interested in any of the seeds? He can get a varerity & write the names & you can pick out anything you might want......let me know.

Nanakat,
It is a big help, this is the 9th or 10th tim eof trying to actually quit I really like the chantix, it takes away the "reward" of the nicotine so there is no relaxation or anything associated with smoking and you retrain yourself easier without the positive aspect of the habit.
I have my days where I don't even want to be around myself but it is getting better.

I'll check w/ Gary, he does house inspections in that area (along w/ several others) I think he mentioned getting some jobs over that way. I don't know about this weekend, but I think he will be heading that direction next week. Then of course getting them to Muskogee is no problem since I work there.

Quiting smoking is a very mental thing. I told myself I was going to try to quit, and didnt get it done. Then in 1995 I told myself I was stronger than a dang old weed, and I wasnt going to try to quit, I would quit. Went cold turkey and aint never looked back. Dont tell yourself you are going to try to do it, tell yourself you are going to do it.

Okay.

What I was meaning by choosing varieties for specific purpose, is like for intense squash, I have been spending most of my garden time killing squash bugs, I don't like using chemicals so I am going to implement companion planting of (radish, petunias, and nastursiums), and along w/ that choose varieties that are reported as being less attractive to the squash bugs, and also choose varieties that go from seed to fruit quicker (so I can get fruit before the major squash bug infestation hits or plant later in the year and still get a harvest) and are open pollinated (for saving seed). Oh and are drought tolerent (b/c I think next year is going to be a repeat of this year)

This is all experimental for me just from info I have found while researching my specific problems, and maybe it is all hoooeeey, but the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing expecting different results, so if I'm not happy w/ the results of this year's garden then what's it hurt to try something different?
