Michael,
Are they LF or Bantam or Both? Are these the older style or the newer ones made a real light weight wood? Are they painted or just natural wood with oil and or stain? If they are bantam I may be interested in a few.
They are the new real light weight wood....All natural with no paint or stain..Door's slide back on top ..Good for bantum's up to Game Rooster's Leghorn breed..

Congrats to our Jr. Show youngsters on wins. Hoping my grandaughter is going to bring home her first ribbon... and what the heck... trophy... in a couple of weeks. Wanted to post a pic of her with one of the hens she got from Carl. Hope this works...
Thanks, Michael, We so apprreciate the folks here on OKIES in the BYC III. We are so new at "chickening" that we are trying to make a plan. Right now, everything is sort of impulse do/buy and then correct what we've done/bought.
Everything we read teaches us more and more about the art of raising chickens - we discovered the fun part first! Now we're hooked. These boxes you have ... could they be used for big nesting boxes? We have some temporary nesting boxes but the girls are getting big and need something different. Can't afford to buy the ones they have at Tractor Supply right now so...just wondering, because $5 is a good price - we can afford some of those. We will come to Mary's next week and find you.
What a wonderful pic! Love the contented introspective little face and the chicken's air of comfort at being loved.
