She will do much better by picking 1 primary and 1 secondary for showing. Make sure they both really have her attention and are in different classes.
I don't know what she has as of now but 1 single comb and 1 rose comb would work best as they will not compete against each other until best of show.
June, don't teh serama show in All Other Single Comb Clean Leg, AOSCCL?

Yes, Serama are SCCL......and I want to tell everyone that we are going to have the 1st ever (in Oklahoma) SCNA sanctioned Table Top show at the Shawnee show (2nd weekend in Dec)....everybody that has Serama, is interested in Serama, or just wants to see a bunch of crazy people play with their chickens on an open table please come. I will post more announcements later as reminders.

Very Neat!!!!!!!!

You bought some of my birds. Thank you for giving them a good home. They like to go outside, but they have always lived indoors. I'm happy that you are enjoying them.

I wondered if these were yours after I brought them home.

Up until the cooler temps and rain came, I would take them outside for fresh air during the day then bring them in at dark. They seemed to enjoy the sunshine and grass. The other birds sure checked them out and are probably jealous that they don't get to come in, too. They are wonderful little birds! Thank you for bringing them to the auction.

Here is a photo I took of them a few days after bringing them home.

lmao Just biding my time until son gets back from Iraq. Hopefully he will be able to stay a while and we can work out combining resources to find a piece of land where we can do just the same thing! (Only I want a horse too).

Evening Folks!

Trying to decide if I am going to go to the Prague auction in the morning. I sure would like to but am a bit scare, cause I might find something I really, really want and totally do not need. The mantra in my head right now is "Hay over $100 a bale, Hay over $100 a bale!", but I am a weak person... Very weak!!! Plus I justify things like that as benefiting my mental health, you know for medical reasons. Right??? hehehe

I will be going to the Newcastle auction tomorrow night. So looking forward to seeing a lot of BYCers. Who all is going to be there? Maybe I can find some really cool chickens, I just cannot live without and will make my flock fantabulous!

Well if I am going to the Prague auction in the morning, I better get to bed. Still have not unloaded the truck since last weekend where I scored a bunch of chicken wire and r-panels for a wonderful price.

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend!
