***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Morning all!

Sooner a chiropractic adjacent could take care of that headache. Been suffering from migraines for at least 6 yrs. Tried all the drugs the neurologist can give. Some helped for a while. Started getting regular adjustments from the chiropractor & it has done more for me than any prescription. I still see the neurologist, but haven't taken any daily meds in a yr. Hope you get relief from your headache soon. I promise the chiropractor is worth every penny.

If I don't eat before I go to work, I'll eat *all the things* at my desk. I've learned this the hard way (about... 40 lbs worth of the hard way). I am NOT a breakfast person, but apparently my body is!

My 60+ guineas eat game food. I know some offer laying pellets during spring, but I think they lay very well with out the layerfeed. When they are out free ranging I call them in with a wild bird seed mix. I shake the container & they get excited & come running. If I am keeping them penned for more than a day or so, I clip grass for them. They gobble up the fresh green grass. But they don't eat table scraps like chickens. My guineas won't even touch any veggie scraps I give them. Also I don't use near as much feed with grown guineas as I do grown chickens.

Hope you are enjoying your guineas!

Thanks for the info. if you don't mind me asking what kind of game food do you feed or what % would you recommend?

There is a lady on CL that sells BA hatching eggs, chicks, etc. Here name is Paula something. If you want I can try and find her email and send it to you. I bought two dozen hatching eggs from her and I had a pretty good hatch rate. I currently have 7, 5 females, 2 males. They're so cute and curious. I just love them. Plus, I've noticed that they aren't affected by the heat very much; whereas my other chickens are dropping like flys.

It would be great if you could get her email and send it to me.

Thanks!
