***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I just wontd to post..Newcastle has 1,050 bird's in the show for this sat...Chicken's large fowl Bantum's duck's gease an even Guineas...
Every one is welcome to come out an look ..they will be alot of bird's ther for sale.. Easy to find its wright on the main strip in the fair barn,,

I'm missing another duck today and I'm sure I know which dogs got him, I have and will again shoot any that I can catch on my place even if they aren't actively trying to get my birds at the time I know they have and they will again just as soon as I am not watching, I think if you call the county they will come and remove the problem animal for you and you do have the right to dispatch it if you choose and are able in order to protect your animals, I've been up at Roman Nose for 3 days to a retreat/training session I opted to not stay and have drove home every evening just to make sure that my animals are looked after otherwise I might be missing a lot more than just one duck,, it's 2 1/2 hours each way drive and round trip cost me 48 bucks in gas, I wonder what the cost might be if I stayed gone all 3 days and don't check on or have someone feeding my critters I'm betting it could easy run over what I'm spending in fuel if something gets after more than just one male duck and no one here to stop them from playing with whatever they want till they wipe me out probably... I would rather make the drive and save what I can every day to me that’s the reward and I get to see them all which makes me happy everyday, So, What’s known about the Edmond auction this Saturday? I have some Misc stuff I would like to sell was thinking maybe setting up at Mary's although I've never been so not sure where to go and where to set up I might have one Embden Gander and a NZ buck to sell, I guess there isn't another auction close by other than the Edmond one? So I’m soliciting for suggestions if anyone has any LOL

[Scoots ] I got my birds put for the show saturday ,they are dropping feathers like crazy, enough feathers on the ground to make a few pillows. Maybe you and Bo can come up with me a class for featherles chickens. Gonna show them anyway and have afun day.

Think my oldest one began cooking when she was about 7. Back then I wouldnt try to eat what she made, she is 13 & can cook almost anything now. My Tom boy chicken loving younger one can burn noodles & has even caught the microwave on fire twice! Each child learns to cook at their own speed! Did teach my 8yr old niece how to cook eggs last weekend they were here. She wanted eggs for breakfast lunch & dinner that day since she could cook them herself!

Judging shoudl start around 9 or 9:30 early afternoon shoudl be fine... say 12-2

I learned to cook out of necessity, My mother could cook something you could eat but didn't want to again... So now Steph gets life pretty good, I do the cooking most of the time.
