Tractor supply has a store brand feed 22% grower / conditioner it is manufactured for tractor supply by Purina and it is a good feed for any bird over 6 weeks of age. It is not too high in calcium, has a great deal of vitamins, minerals, a good mix of fesh meal, bone meal, and plant protiens. I do not use the feed but from what I have heard from others it does very well.
you will know when you are feeding the birds right they will develop thier bodies better, good feather condition, increased immunity, decreased feed consumption and increase production.

Thanks everybody. I ended up getting a 15% grower finisher. It is pellets so I ground it up for BillyClyde. TSC was out of the 22%. I also got some scratch grains for the bigger outdoor chickens. It's made by Producer's Pride. He is still acting normal except for the fact that he hasn't crowed all day He has tried a few times. His comb is red again, but not bright red, but then it was never really bright. Hopefully he is fine and just having an off day as June said.

I have a serious aversion to change, especially techno change, and there was an IT guy in my computer system changing a few programs to make it compatable w/ a company Gary is going to start working for and now my FB is screwed way up, but I don't know if it was the changes he made or if FB is changing crap again!!!!! But either way I seriously don't like it!!!!!!!!

Hi, I make my own deer/pork summer sausage and hot links, Ralph's in Perkins Okla. carries both summer sausage and other sausage mixes and so does AtwoodI have used both and they are both really good and easy to use, just be sure to keep the meat cold when grinding and adding mixes, we add crushed ice as we mix to keep it cold, this is to help keep it safe, I personally like the Ralph's brands the best but they are both good!!! Got a half a deer in the freezer already and have not even been hunting! Thanks to good friends( of course they all like my sausages too!!!) Hi Monty, glad to see you back on, and I think the Toppy/Hatch that Pocco has came from me!! He is gorgeous in color though!!! Lynn

Gourd lovers..I soak my gourds for birdhouses in Stumpkiller for 15 minutes after I cut and clean the insides out. It makes them more weather durable.

Shawnee show in December at the Expo Center...We plan on going to check out the pens.
