The feed at Fisher's Mill (the operation/store that is closest to the entrance to the area) is what we buy for cattle, horses, llamas, goats and poultry. For the past few months, we have been feeding their baby beef, which is a loose grain that doesn't seem to have any sticky molasses in it - to EVERYTHING - including the poultry. I offer free choice calcium to the chickens when feeding them the baby beef. When feeding the egg layer ration from Fisher's Mill, which is a loose grain the chickens really like, I don't worry about additional calcium for the chickens.
I haven't tried the dog food from Fisher's Mill, but the dog food from Fisher's Feed (far side of complex) is good. I don't usually get chicken feed from the Fisher's Feed side of the operation since their's is pelleted instead of loose grain.
