Jarvis those are pretty rosecombs, are they yours? Your right they are seldom seen anymore. I remember when they used to be the most common fancy bantam found.

No mine are a little younger but similar conformation. I am using the blacks with a Birchen Cock starting in Feb or March to bring Birchen back to the breed. I think the color contrast will make for one excellent appearance.

Here is one of mine. I need pics of the females give me some time and I'll get them.

Good Morning Okies :)
Sooner, why the hospital? Hope everything is ok :-/
Mitzi, are you sure I can't talk you out of any eggs? I'm looking for some to set in about a week and I'd really like to try yours =)
hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend

Morning,

Sooner - Let us know you are okay.

I found plans for a pasture pen that looks like a little green house. Has anyone used a pipe bender before? I'm thinking about getting a tube bender at Loe's and some 3/4" EMT conduit (aluminum) to make the top of the pen. The instructions seem simple enough, but I've never bent metal pipes before, so I guess I should buy an extra length of conduit to practice on.

Dutchchic, I have a couple of blues that you might want. I can't keep those ladies off the nest. They are not show quality as their hackle feathers are not dark black. They are very typey and large. PM me and we will talk.
