***OKIES in the BYC III ***

That does seem steep. I didn't know there was a charge. But yes any price at a smaller town swap that is does not yet have a strong following is steep.

Does anyone set up at the Saturday Flea Mkt on West Tulsa?
they wll be announcing it everyday now that they have started.
10 bucks to setup at an unproven swap is a bit much for me.

we setup at the admiral fleamkt everynow and then, usually sell out within 3-4 hours. 2 weeks ago it took an hour to sell all 60 birds.

it costs 10 bucks there, but you arent limited to a small space, they are kinda lenient on that.
you are almost guaranteed 2-300 shoppers an hour on a good day, saturday or sunday either one.

this is on the north side, we dont even think about the southside. way to much asphalt for the summertime.

watch it there buckguy, family site and all that you know.

You are both funny, where were you all day when I needed entertainment???????????

i had a fun day at work today with my added responsibilities, i had to dispose of a sick skunk after the PD made it where it wasn't a danger anymore. Even with wearing gloves and being careful i mow have a new nickname at city hall, named after a cartoon character. But on the bright side, the person whose house it was at is just getting into chickens and will probably be at the Newcastle auction.

Hey everyone, I just want to update everyone on the planned 2012 People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap (POOPS).
I have a tentative date set for May 5 2012 at the Choctaw City Park Pavilion. I say tentative because although I have been ASSURED that we have secured May 5 as the date, FINAL approval will come from the city council next week.
As usual, having livestock there is the issue.
We will be letting everyone know more details after we get the final OK.
The park is about five miles north of the KOA where we have had three POOPS events in the past.
It is less than a half mile south of NE 23rd street which is old highway 62 which runs through the middle of Choctaw.
Thanks,
Monty
Thanks, Monty. That's going to be a heck of a lot closer than the get together in June for me :) But I do plan on making both as far as I know.

Choctaw will be really close for me!

Nocityboy...hydrogen peroxide

BetsyOK ..how are you healing?
the odor was very faint and was gone by lunch time. Which meant i didn't have to eat alone
It would probably be good to keep some in the truck just in case
