I appreciate it, but you are over 3 hours from me.

Praying, hopefully it will go off without a hitch. That would be very close for us to attend and while I don't know what one does at a POOPS it sounds like a good time,lol.

The Okies are notorious for setting up chicken trains, a bird gets picked up, stays teh night one place, then handed off and eventually makes it way to its new home.. not too bad with adults or juveniles but I would not suggest it with day olds. Just ship them.. its easy.

Well if anybody has juveniles or adults available that would be even better!

Buckguy is working on the location...posted earlier that he meets with parks and recreation today for final approval and will let us know soon.

Had a blind date this Valentines Day with the black ice and a concrete bridge rail in I-44 this AM while going to work.

Had to find my poultry cage and fence post which got thrown out of the truck upon impact, just a little sore but doc gave me some meds for that.

Now the fun part of dealing with insurance company begins

Its just an annual gathering of folks to meet, swap, buy, sell, and educate others on all aspects of Poultry from raising and processing to showing. Its a good family oriented event.

Well I need everyone to cross their fingers and toes and say a prayer.
Tonight I get the final word from the parks council about the place for POOPS.
I have been told that it is just a formality and it will be approved.
But you never know til its over.
I'll let ya'll know when I do.

Well folks!
Sitting here really needing to go back to bed. Took today off because I am sick, sick, sick. Really would like to take tomorrow off but can't because the students start going crazy when I am gone at all let alone two days.
Hoping we have the place for POOPS nailed down so we can start planning activities and such.
So I think I will head to bed and see if I can sleep the icky out.

Anyone planning to head this way, Call me first.. Steph is getting off work early and wants to go to shawnee feed for more seeds for teh garden.. aparently the 10 lbs or so I bought in the fall did not cover everything she wanted.. So we will be leaving shortly after she gets here.
