If you are willing to part with one of your Splash boys, I am looking for a Boyfriend for my big girl Peaches. He would have a forever home here. Peaches is not impressed with my Bantam boys and she an a Splash could make some Lemon Blues.

MJ, that's actually a great idea as I think of it......because I know you'd contact me 1st thing if it came to the point that you couldn't keep him so I could take him back. Are you sure you want a Splash and not a Buff? What color would the babies be, do you know? Yes, I'd be willing to do that and feel good about the situation.

LOL one of those girls is a peach, the other OMGosh she never shuts up!!! LOL I told dh she had better find a mate in all those boys out there and calm down, haha. But right now it is quiet out there but come about 5AM she will start up again.

What kind of Cochins does he want? Sharing birds with young bird lovers is HIGHLY contageous.

I don't think he knows yet, lol. He likes the banty ones (he is thinking coop space and run size needed). He has been doing some looking online but I don't think he has settled on a certian kind.

These guys you want eggs from? Sure, as many as you want! I love these 3 birds, they're beautiful the way they match haha. What can I do to help with the project? I bet I could collect up these eggs and you could pay Carl to hatch them (he hardly charges a thing). You'd get a nice selection of splash, blue and black bearded Cochins. That'd be cool.

Got our first Chicken egg today....

In the last 3 days I have gotten 12 duck eggs from my 7 Khaki Campbell ducks.. The only bad thing is my girls need a boyfriend or two...

Peaches may not be as excited as you though lol
His name is Clark, he was the 1st one to get a comb and was always more 'manly' that the other 2. Both the Splash's are identical since they grew up, I have to look at the dot on Clark's beak to know he's Clark. Lemon Blue's are a way cool color! And hard to find. I just loved that one NoCityBoy got at the auction (was it him?)
Rebecca, here's a closer picture of the 2 girls in with that dark Cochin boy. But they're not Ameraucanas, they're Easter Eggers. The Ameraucana people told me the bottom of their feet are yellow instead of white so that means they're Easter Eggers. Sometimes it's hard to tell though. Their eggs are blue/green.

Peaches, how old are your chickens? My big Cochin girls started laying in the middle of winter but they were like 6 mo old. Took them a bit of a while.

Does anyone have some cochin hens they would like to sell me? I would like to increase the number I have now. I could go with chicks but they take so long to mature, so would prefer adult hens.
