Sorry to be obnoxious. I posted this earlier, but worried it might get overlooked

I can get them from one of you guys instead of a store.
We have about 50 guineas - around 30 are guinea hens. I still haven't found a single egg! I know others have found a few eggs, but my girls said they are just not ready! I have left them penned up for a couple of days & still haven't seen any eggs! But my peahen has already laid 6 eggs, maybe she can talk to the guineas for me!

Coral you are more than welcome to the yogurt recipe book. I use to make yogurt all the time & stopped once our source for raw milk went out of business. I also want to get you the doll clothes patterns I have. I don't for see me girls ever doing anything with the patterns & I hope I am many yrs away from needing to make doll clothes for any grandkids. Do you plan on making poops?
Yes. I'm bringing my granddaughter with me. We will try to get there early, but sometimes teen girls take a little longer to get ready than us old grannies.

Thanks! I hadn't really thought about that since chick season is in full swing

I'm smart obviously. I'm just so stinking excited to be starting up again. When they do keep me in mind if you would

When we did broilers a few years ago I got mine here http://www.centralhatchery.com/ all arrived in wonderful condition and would have had 100% survival had we butchered them all on schedule, but we got behind and in the last week we lost two. I only did 25 and it cost me 1.17 per chick including shipping. Looks like their prices haven't changed much. 100 should end up costing $1 flat including shipping. I will definitely use this hatchery again. Very happy with them. I think we are zone 3 or 4 if I remember right. You do have to call them to order and send them a check, but it's well worth the savings IMO.

Holy Moly! $100 for 100 broilers after shipping??

I'm ordering mine tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

I just have to say that since I've been lurking for the last week or two, I have really enjoyed listening to everyone. The posts are certainly teaching me a lot, and lots are really funny, the pics are wonderful, and y'all sound like you're a great bunch to know. Now when I get home from work and take a few minutes to sit and relax (I'm on my feet all day) I catch up on the Okie thread. I've filled in hubby on some of it and he's getting skeered. Usually I spend my free time with the horses, and he tells our friends that I care more about them than him. Now that Ive told him we're getting 10 hens and a roo instead of 5 hens, he's really groaning! I think he's afraid I'm gonna train a chicken to ride the horse.
I sure don't know why...

I told him about POOPS and he thinks that sounds like fun (specially the food part) so we'll be there!

I'll look around to see if we have anything on the wish list and I can definitely bring food. Just let me know what you need more of.

Holy Moly! $100 for 100 broilers after shipping??
I'm ordering mine tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

If their website is still up to date. It says 100 st run broilers $80, if we are in zone 3 shipping is $17, if we're in zone 4 it's $20. I don't remember which zone we're in but I could have sworn it was 3 or 4. So either $97 or $100 for 100. Let me know how it goes. I sure hope they are still around. I ordered from them back in 2009.
