***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Hello,

I would love to know where and when is the Newcastle auction? I finally found the Blanchard auction after driving all over the countryside. I think my husband is trying for sainthood after following my directions forever from a gps phone with ADD that decides to take scenic detours. Not once did the man growl or say anything!

Is there a list of auctions somewhere? The ones I have been to, Maud, River Bend and 412 always seem to be happening when I work lately. Darn hospital thinks it needs to be open 24/7!

Well from what I've been told there are two in Newcastle the first and third Saturday of each month and one in Blanchard on the second and fourth Saturday. If I got that correct...lol

Here is the current list of attendees for POOPS.
I will try and catch people as they post on the thread,
but if you don't see your name on the list then please
send me a private message.
Please let me know how many will be in your group.
Thanks Monty

Someone will come on with the information about the Newcastle auction and yes...someone has a listing of all the active auctions as a link in her signature... I'm sure someone will know who that is and will get a link for you....

Thank you. My husband pointed out that on the new t.v. show called Doomsday Preppers a lady found a way to make her eggs last for 9 months as if they were still fresh, not boiled, pickeled or anything else.

Not sure if I would eat them.

I shouldn't be allowed to type in the mornings. POCO already posted about freezing them.

ok guys- another broody - one of the bantam cochins...as flat as a pancake... so since fall, i have had 4 broodies, and now licorice and olivia.... good grief... so what is the best way to break them?? or... i could just sell the chicks?? i do have some lf cochins cooking in the bator now, plan on selling hatching eggs in the future...

i hope they are not cooking LOL it would be a shame for them not to grow into these

Joe - The hatch with the New Hampshires went into lockdown yesterday. I hope they pip on schedule. I've got a bunch of eggs coming for the Easter Hatch-A-Long and need the space in the incubator.

Looks like another nice day today. I received three little peach trees from an old and dear friend in Collinsville on Sunday, so I need to get them in the ground. My friend has always had lots of fruit on her peach trees, so this year she's giving friends little starter trees. I hope these will be as prolific as hers. I don't know the variety, but I do know, as the main ingredient, they make one amazing peach cobbler.

I can see the pond, so I'm off to feed and water the animals. Have a great day, everyone!
