From what I've experienced so far over the past few months with trying to get the house ready, let alone find a trustworthy realtor, it's something I wouldn't want to go through very often. The last time I bought / sold a house was in 1988 when I bought this house, and things have changed somewhat since then. It's wearing me down just getting this far with it, and I still have a ways to go. I just hope that I get a buyer quickly so this will all end. I'm about at my rope's end with it all. On the upside, though, I'm looking forward to having a place out of the city - away from blaring emergency sirens, car alarms, airplanes flying low enough to see the pilot and looking out the window only to see another house 20 feet from mine. It will be nice to get away from all of that.![]()
Where are you looking at moving to? How much land?
I have an 8' long 250 gal tank with 2 Oscars and a bunch of Clown Loaches in it, too.
We took the hamsters out of the house everytime we showed it too. It's hard to keep a house show ready with kids, mine are 5,4, and 2. Every time we got a call for a showing I had to pawn my kids off on someone so I could make it half way presentable. Worth it in the end tho!
