Can you over feed chickens? Our chickens eat everything we feed them and I just hope Im not fattening them up too much

I hope everyone is doing well. It's warm today, so a lot of the new babies are in temporary cages in shady spots outside. They don't seem to miss the heat lamps.

Galen, our first-bred LaMancha doe, is acting like she's ready to have her kid. I hope she manages to give birth before the weather gets wet and soggy again.

I need to finish cleaning the new/old brooder box I bought at Chupps so that I can split the Easter hatchlings to give them more space to play.

Yes it is possible. They can get too fat which can affect their laying capabilities and
also makes it hard on them in the summer heat just like it does with myself.

NANAKAT is doing a super duper job tracking the raffle items and getting donations and
Sooner is doing her usual stellar job in coordinating the food roundup and tee shirt sales.
Muesky likewise has been great in running the wants and wishes list.
Let's give them all a big hand!

I have both summer runs completely completed, finally! Totally planted, all the trellising done, now just the wait to see if all the hard work will be worth it and keep the girls more comfy when it gets unreasonably hot.

I did an experiment today I let both groups out to range together today, I was really worried they would fight, but no fighting at all. Oreo was over the moon his girls doubled today. And I was suprised how the roo-less girls took up w/ him they were his groupies for most of the day.

Peppers are completly planted (well I may think about one or two additional hot ones)

My early girl tomatoes are looking sad yellowing and the leaves are getting small holes through the leaves like swiss cheese, I'll post some pics later but any ideas what's wrong?

My tomatoes are doing the same. I have been spraying with neem and it seems to help.

I'll get close and see if there are any nasty little bugs on them, maybe those hateful spider mites????

Possibly. Im not sure what it is either. My eggplants have holes in their leaves too (just sprayed them with neem as well and there are no new holes). I spray neem on my radishes and that has really helped keep the bugs off and there are no new holes. My cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower were attacked by moths and the only thing that works is BT. Everything else seems to be ok, my peppers, okra, cucumbers, and peas look great.

Everything planted here - but a couple of tomatoes started wilting looked at them and guess what - crewed off at the base so I am guessing gohpers? no tunnels or mounds that I can see? any ideas?

I cannot wait for Blanchard auction!!!! I will be there with my little guy - going to be fun!
