Is bird walk coming to poops? I am hoping to get some coral blue guineas from her, since you can never have enough guineas!

I don't know if she's coming or not. I ended up with these when I got guineas from her. Since I don't have any pullets big enough to breed I've not had any trouble from them and their personalities are wonderful, but I'm afraid once my girls get big enough it'll be bad :(

Good Afternoon, It looks like storms this afternoon. I don't see why we can't have just the rain without all the drama! LOL I have made sure all the feather babies are staying close and ready to go back into their coops. I would love to leave it up to them but my birds will just stop and sit in the yard if rain and hail come along.

I am going to try to get photos of the birds with the feathered legs so I can post for opinions. I am really wondering about their super long legs. They look like mini emus sometimes!

Well I have more pens ready at my place, so now it is time for me to decide which birds to get next!!! Of course I keep falling in love with the ones that are hard to find. Does anyone know of breeders fairly close to or in OK of:
Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons
Buff Laced Brahmas
Creme Legbars
Swedish Flower Hens
or any Porcelain LF

What projects do everyone have going right now? I love the chickens from the Aloha Chickens here on BYC. I am really thinking I need a project of my own! I have the space and just wondering what would be something fun to try.

I hope everyone stays safe this evening and the tornadoes decide to do a no show. I love spring but get panicky when Mother Nature decides to throw a hissy fit.

However....God has repaid me. It seems all *4* of my Dark Brahmas are girls! After reading a ton about it and looking at a bazillion pictures I agree with the Brahma lady's opinion. But a couple of them are flipping huge so I thought for sure that meant boy. I've never know pullets to be so big at 3 wks, not even my Cochin girls. Here's the pictures I posted. I hope it's really true.
NoCityBoy, were your Dark Brahma girls big when they were chicks?
Mine were grown when i got them, my light brahmas at about that age were the same size as my Orps.

This is my underdeveloped duck egg, it's day 30 and what do you know it pipped today. This pic is from last night, hard to see but you can kinda make out a V shape going up from the small end. It's actually a larger space than the pic shows. What do you guys think/

HAHAHA I mean it's funny but not, go to kfor.com, weather, interactive radar, and look at all the storm chasers lighting up the screen! Things are about to get bad I have a feeling :(

I just spent 30 min closing everything up-- 60 mph winds & hail is a few miles away. The guineas are still standing outside their coop screaming at it, but I did my best. Everyone else is up. I wasn't going to get beat by hail just because they want to play outside.

Tonight & tomorrow are showing the same pattern as when the huge tornados took out Alabama last yr. heard of storm chasers even coming from as far as Wisconsin just to experience an Oklahoma spring time weekend.
