NannaKat & tgperg - love the photos!
It's raining buckets here. I was supposed to take the goat kids to a friend's house for help disbudding today, but I don't know If I want to travel with goats in a downpour (that sounds odd. Does one drive a downpour, pilot a downpour, or pull a downpour behind a truck?). They don't do well in wet weather. I may have to reschedule the disbudding for next week.
I dropped off my ratched-strapped hive body with frames, bottom board, inner cover, and telescoping cover at the apiary in Tulsa yesterday. I'll be picking up my nuc of
some time next week. For folks looking for a local bee supply, Greg and his wife at Ozark Bee Supply in Tulsa are great. Nucs, separate queens, etc. are available next week. They have a price list online. They sell hive bodies and all the safety equipment one could think of. They can also be reached through the NEOBA (North Eastern Oklahoma Bee Association) website.
I need to go check for leaky roofs and tarps. Hope to see some folks online later. Stay dry!
