Yay! I was hoping it was a boy. Now I can come up with a name to fit. lol. The lavender has no tail. Neither do my blues upstairs. But the other two white ones and the black one upstairs have tails just like his.

Good evening bycers, all is well at the farm again. The new replacement chicks i got from mj's neighbor jack are doing well, ive hatched out lots of my bantam ameraucanas and the garden is doing even better then expected. Also, i am within days of opening my new store in the choctaw plaza. I am going to be picking veggies first thing in the morning and setting up at the store at 10am if anyone wants to stop by and get some.
8 weeks??? I agree boy and not Ameraucana or EE.Ok, Brandi-I opened the picture in a new tab and it showed a super clear closeup. This is a single comb and not a pea comb. That along with no beard/muff and yellow legs would indicate it's definitely not an Ameraucana. Ams have Blue or Slate (gray) colored legs. Look at the Lavenders and you can see it. This one looks like a Bantam Leghorn. But I've never had a Leghorn and haven't studied them so I may be way off on that one.
Here's the close up. I'm still sticking to "boy", tooHe's really really pretty though.

If you got then from Jack they are from eggs he bought, not his own birds. Chicks from his pen are definately all bearded, dark legged and Blue, Black or Splash. His roo and 5 hens are Blue and one hen is a Splash. - they are my favorite of all his birds. The roo is one of the prettiest I have ever seen.Yes that's them! I am on the website now looking at photos of Ameraucanas.
Wow, she has great coloring and good type too. I'm glad you got her. I love my hens, such personalities!update on FIL, keep praying, it is colon cancer, but the dr didn't think it is life threatening, they caught it early, maybe the size of a pea, he'll go in monday for pre op tests- stress tests- so keep him and all of the family in prayer
took some pics of the kids... this is one of the fav boys, always wanting to be with people, even after they have been moved outside...
mj, here is one of your hens- she is so darn sweet- and one of the babies- big difference in personality between her and licorice, the cochin broody that took notes from nana's nasty nelly- i don't think this girl has a mean bone in her body
