Sorry for the frightful storm event but glad no animals were hurt!We live in Newcastle and the storm ( storms were terrible ) . The first storm came thru about 7pm while I was trying to roundup the chickens and guineas so they wouldn't get blown away . I was caught in the barn watching golf ball size hail and winds that almost blew my chicken house away . Finally made it to the house with the help of my husband and golfcart . The second storm was from the north and was worse with higher winds and lots of nickel size hail . Lost alot of large branches on our walnut trees but all the animals survived .
Hope everyone else is ok . Looks like most of folks on the board lucked out and it passed around them .
Looking forward to the Newcastle sale .
Worked up sand plums and peaches today. The chickens sure love the pulp and trimmings.
This is in the oven
We have early peaches on a dwarf tree planted two years ago.
Yummy! That looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
