***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Quote: Just let me know....

We live in Newcastle and the storm ( storms were terrible ) . The first storm came thru about 7pm while I was trying to roundup the chickens and guineas so they wouldn't get blown away . I was caught in the barn watching golf ball size hail and winds that almost blew my chicken house away . Finally made it to the house with the help of my husband and golfcart . The second storm was from the north and was worse with higher winds and lots of nickel size hail . Lost alot of large branches on our walnut trees but all the animals survived .

Hope everyone else is ok . Looks like most of folks on the board lucked out and it passed around them .
Looking forward to the Newcastle sale .
Sorry for the frightful storm event but glad no animals were hurt!

Worked up sand plums and peaches today. The chickens sure love the pulp and trimmings.
This is in the oven

We have early peaches on a dwarf tree planted two years ago.
Yummy! That looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!

Just want to say welcome LaraLou! I am also new in this forum. I am in Broken Arrow. I buy the food at Atwoods but have not really put attention if it soy based or not.

Thanks guys. That was my husband posting for me, I just picked this critter up from my sister, missing skin is an understatement. I don't think there is any hope for it. I put antibiotic ointment on a pad and wrapped it in gauze. I hadn't gotten a chance to really look at it till I just got it home. It's missing skin all over it's body. You can see it's shoulder bone and the mucle on the upper leg, it's gonna die, it's just a matter of when, guess me and the girls can disect it tho immediately after, science lesson time.

Lynn - what is bluecoat?

Hey Mitzi - talked to a lady that saw my tortoise on Woodale sunday night. She said it was heading southwest, so probably toward your street, if you don't mind keeping an eye out for it, I'd appreciate it.
Hi, Blue Coat is an antibiotic type spray that is purple looking, it is basically the same thing as the wound sprays you can get at Atwood's and other places.
Try the honey, it will heal it if anything will, honey is strongly anti bacterial and ill work as good or better than Neosporin! Lynn

The tuxedo, she has a red swelling at her anus, anyone know if it will self correct or what I need to do to fix it?

here is the orange and white one, this one is a little less trusting/more wild then the tuxedo.
