***OKIES in the BYC III ***

That would be a clip for Youtube!
I tried to get DH to let me take pics, but he wouldn't :p It was hilarious, he wouldn't even let me get a pic of the aftermath when he was covered head to toe! I had to take his clothes out and hose them down before I was willing to put them in my washer :) I was in barefoot, in boxers and a tank so most of it ended up on ME instead of my clothes...... grumble grumble. I didn't think I'd be nearly as involved as I ended up being

Oh my oceans. You wrestle pigs & turtles?? Oh my!!
lol yes, my favorite past time :p

Oh please do, that would be funny to see indeed LOL I was wondering how your piggies were doing I got to see a couple of them that another friend bought and they are 3 times the size of the the one I still have left out of that litter and the mama is due again any time now
Too dark already tonight to post got home way later than I thought I would! I'll try to get out there in the morning for a pic! I'd love to see how big the one you still have is, I feel like mine are small!

New to BYC, had to show you all our progress for today..

My dad (deceased) had a wood shop and my mom lets the family use it as we need to. Very thankful for that. Husband did a great job on these!
wow! Wanna build me one?? That's awesome!

Robin, they're just adorable in the video! lol His little creaky crow just cracks me up :-D It does my heart good to see how well they've already adjusted, I knew they would. June was very glad to be able to get them to you, she knew you'd give them lots of attention and spoil them to pieces. They're such tiny miniatues haha!

We lost thee birds today...with no signs of illness. All thee were layers. Lucy was the Cornish cross that brooded chickens this past winter and the other two wer young pulleys just laying. Two were dead this morning and one this afternoon. she laid an egg this morning and appeared healthy.

Hey Peeps. I have an Uncle out in Harrah that is looking for a Bantam Cochin Roo. His became a victim of a predator. If anybody has one let me know. He has a black hen so something that he can breed with and get some color.

thanks

Sorry about loosing the ladies nana! Do you think this rainy weather got them?

Robin I think Bambi has more pkaymates in her future. She has a weather in with her, but they don't play together much. He prefers to eat & ER his head scratched. She wants someone to run & jump with IMO.
Hope everyone faired ok today & had a great time @ the swap! We spent the day bed shopping. So tomorrow we have to clean out our old furniture to make room for the new-- I say we- but I really mean DH moves stuff & I tell him where I want it. Thought we were going to get washed away in OKC. It was brutal at times. Hardly for any rain here, seems most of it stopped at Chickasha.

Oklahoma Gardening on PBS is talking about green roofs that are sucessful here in OK on this wks episode. They gave the cost to be $10-$30 a sq ft & roofs can last as long as 60 yrs. Think the 60 yrs would be those fortunate to not get hit buy a major hail storm. I know several here have talked about experimenting with green roofs for their coops. Think you can view the episodes online - for those fortunate enough to have high speed Internet.

Think I need to find some new hobbies for all these sleepless nights- slept 3 hours. Tried crossword puzzles but griping onto a pen & concentrating on the puzzle was challenging. Reading at times reauires to much concentration. Typing takes much longer than it use to. Sewing & playing on my cricut are challenging. All the animals & family is asleep at night. Maybe I can get me a nocturnal pet, we have friends with sugar gliders (they smell awful). Guess I should google noctornial pets. Wonder if Hedge hogs smell bad?
