Yeah... that's what I was doing....you could tell that the egg was darker and the air sacs really defined... but it's only day seven... after the weekend I should be able to see more veining and stuff, I hope. I candled my BOs 18 last night and 3 were clear and Mike dropped a fourth one. He felt bad.... I told him I did the same thing last time.... but it was bleeding so she had 15 viables..... I can't wait to see what she ends up with. She is evil... I am covered with bruises from getting those eggs out from under her... she is gonna be a tough momma.....

Has anyone ever built their own pool/swimming hole ?
Looks like that is what I am doing for the long weekend.
I relley need another pen/coop but hubby did do one so no
hawk attacks in 2 days.... Feeling better now... Breathing again...
Thanks to all the ideas by the way. I may go with the paintball
gun idea. If I hit it he will go blue or green. The next rain will clean him
up. I will just try and miss but sounds fun... I think I will put up a target
near by... If hawks fly threw while im shooting I will be sorry.... Kind of..
How many here go organic on the veggies... I think Al....

Just got back from the hospital. Good news...........he gets to keep all his body parts. Only the outer skin on his index finger is dying.Kinda like you get a real deep slice off your finger. The bad news.....He will live (this is not the bad news) to do it again (that is the bad news). He gets to sleep there again tonight and probably go home in the morning. I had chicks hatching so I needed to come home. Will go back this evening, he is NOT liking the dress they have him wearing.

Luvs - glad to hear the good report...told you it would get nasty when it got better!

In the plants without tilling...ask rancher types for the mineral buckets and other tubs they get stuff in...they work great and are free!

dozen times this morning watching for you. Am soooo
thankful that everything's gonna be OK. Am sure that hand
will be "down" for a while, but it'll still be there.
