Yes, Dean was astounded at the price the Americauna hen brought. Earlier in the evening he met a former co-worker and the guy asked about buying some Americauna hens from me. I had quoted him a price of MUCH less than even the $22 one brought.

If I hadn't purchased 20 guineas because I am too impatient to wait on the eggs in the brooder to hatch, I would have done quite well at the auction.
