Well We didnt do too bad last night. Picked up 6 Black Stars and one laid an egg on the way home. Then we were bidding against a guy for some RIR pullets he won at 10 a piece, later he asked if we wanted any of them so we took 4 of them home.

Yes they are the ones we looked at. And they are. Right now they are in one of my brooders, not real happy about it. We are going to split the fence on the babies pen and build them a small temp coop.

That is good. Something I thought about this morning, you need to go and get some of those surgical booties and wear them in your coop. I have some med size medial gloves you can have. Compliments of Norman Regional

Allright guys... calm down. This has nothing to do with the peeps. I grew up with those boys in CA. and I am here to tell ya they will drag my a$$ bleeding from here before they will intimidate me on my land. That is the main reason I left CA to begin with. And make no mistake, I can get just as ugly and nasty as the next guy when you mess with what's mine...There will be blood...

I have no fear KT that you can take care of yourself. I knew that when i 1st laid eyes on you at POOPS. And yes I want another POOPS. It is fun at auctions, to see all the POOPS shirts and of course P&B wears her yellow shirt. I didnt wear mine last night to Blanchard I left a family gathering and was in a sun dress my mom made for me, kinda showing it off to the family..................

Good news Steph I wont need to borrow the incubator of yours after all, I managed to get ALL the eggs into the egg racks I got last night at the auction. I did have to stack some cochin eggs up where the 2 trays meet. 192 eggs. This time for sure I am gonna get Lynn to build me a hatcher, so that I can do staggered hatching. AND to keep the guessing game down on what is what.

Carla did you get that pen thing you told me I could not bid on. How much did it go for?

This is what I got from Carla...............is it 21 and 28 days yet?

6 royal palm turkey eggs, 11 bourbon red, 9 blue slate and 10 narragansett

6 dozen guinea eggs:

3 dozen jersey giant eggs:

12 lav. guinea chicks

And 5 Narragansett poults.

All made it thru the night and eggs ready for the bator soon.

Wow sounds like everyone had a great time at the sale just wish that it was a little closer so that I could have went!!! Only gonna be on for a few minutes gonna have a family cookout so gotta get stuff ready already have 6 racks of ribs, a 12 lb brisket, and half a hog on the smokers and still have to make tator salad and stuff to hope you all have a great day!!!!!!

WOW I am heading to........................Wyandotte Ok. Sounds like you got a fun day planned out. We are not doing much of anything, we might throw some steaks on the grill. Gonna be build brooders today i think and or tomorrow.
