It's only 102 here. Compared to you guys I guess that's cool!! I am taking a tea break and then headin' back out. I have put up 60 more ft. of poultry netting today. Had to go to town and buy more net and wire. They didn't have the net in the right height....or the dang wire. Stupid Atwoods. They never have the same stuff twice. I get into it with Mike because if ya see something ya need, you better buy it, cause it sure as heck won't be there next week.... or tomorrow... or 15 minutes from now.... Jeez. I am about to write to the company. Their stocking sux. Chicken supplies are the worst. They were out of metal range troughs all winter. Then they finally get them in and they are two bucks more!

What a day! I am pooped. I just finished a pool party and cookout for about 50 or so teenagers and a few adults. Man it was sure hot standing over that grill. I finally turned the hose on myself to cool down until I could finish grilling and then got in the pool for about an hour.
I love hosting this kind of stuff but it sure takes a lot out of me.
On the bright side I got to keep most of the leftovers.

Still wondering about Blanchard tomorrow. If I feel like it I will try and make it but I am not sure right now.

Misti, I will pm you about the Polish later. You got first shot at them if you want them.

Well I got 80 ft. done after all...still got 20' to go, but I was just beat...so me and Mike went out to dinner... had a couple margaritas and relaxed.

Stimp...what did Cameran Diaz do? Other than that horrible "Something about Mary" film?

I have a horrible bite on my neck....a spidey got me!

It is 94 degrees....Poor hennies...I left their fan on and spritzed them with a mister bottle. June bugs are taking over. They are stuck to me all over when I come in. Ewwwww!

My Mom is PISSY!!! I am threatening to not visit her anymore after today!! LOL....

I can't win.

Hope y'all are still alive... we had a chance for rain tomorrow, but they keep whittling away at it....

Good morning all

Beth and Monty thank you for your encouraging words and prayers. It's amazing how God's comfort is getting us through this.

We have the funeral at 10:00 this morning. We hope to beat some of the heat as there will be a lot of elderly people there. Please pray that God will protect those old folks from it. We've asked them to keep it short at the cemetary for that reason.
