nnbreader--I would love to see the pics. My husband is a auto mechanic and this would be a good way for him to get involved. I'll tell him that I REALLY need his smarts to help with things such as the wiring, etc. He really does like the chickens, but just not as crazy as I am about them.

I bet you check on them in the middle of the night - you won't be able to help yourself.

No when I hit the bed, I'm gone. If I wake up I usually can't walk for about 10 minutes.

I'll be up at 6:00 checking on them though.

Just jumping on & off to say hello - finally got caught up a little on some work stuff and on all the Okie posts - now it's midnight and I'm about to turn into a pumpkin so goodnight all!

Al - it was good to talk to you tonight!

You poor, poor, sleep-deprived, humidity/temperature-watching hatching people... I am resisting, but I found out my folks have an incubator and have been hatching keets...so there is already a family precedent...(oh no!).

Get some sleep smfamf!

I had to get up at 4:30 this a.m. to get a head start on the week....blech!

Since you posted at midnight and then got up at 4:30 this morning, me thinks that YOU are going to be sleep deprived as well. Try to get some rest if you can and if you can't, add some extra vitamin C to help your immune system.

I slept most of Saturday and then 12 hours Saturday night, because I had gotten so tired. Amazing how some extra ZZZs help my brain function better.

I've got 10 babies now. They have been chirping away all night. I tossed and turned all night due to some muscle cramps and I could hear them in the bedroom with the door closed. It made getting my four-year kid outta bed easier. I told her we had a bunch of babies and she was up in seconds. It only took her five minutes to get ready. She wanted to watch the babies so she cooperated for the first time.

Good day all : Looks like a bit of a scorcher out there today, as usual I will be in it all day whewww already dreading it LOL.
