I wonder why we havent heard yet from Al and the guys... I think they partied it up again last night after most folks left the POOPS after the clean up.. HA HA I bet you they put on the dresses again...

I think it was about noon when we all filed out of the KOA. A few were going to have lunch and others hit the road. I am sure that if they are'nt too wore out they will at least get online tonight.

Personal thanks for all the wonderful people that jumped in to help with the setting up, cleaning up and over-all food operation. I won't even try to name, names because I would forget someone. Just know my heartfelt thanks goes out to you all!

Im going to be very busy getting birds situated today so I will be off and on here all day. POOPS was great! Met alot of people, wish I could have met more. Next time I will have my camera, and greet more people! My husband even had a good time.

Sounds like everyone had fun at POOPS! And the pics of the guys in Dresses are just plain hilarious, wish I coulda been there to see it! I had my own fun last night, I went to the Gary Allan concert. It was amazing!

We are going to go to Woodward. Just a NBHA jackpot. I haven't been able to ride as much as I'd like with a 2 1/2 month old baby, so I'm going to places with low entry fees. lol

POOPS was fantastic! Infact, my only regret was not being able to stay twice as long as I did!
Here's a big round of applause to all the organizers and donators, because without all of you, this grand event would have never happened... especially not more than once

What a great day I had

.... Sold a few things, bought a few more, and mostly just had an awesome time visiting with the best group of poultry friends anyone could ever ask for

Neecy, John, and Shaun, KT and Mike, and Kim and family: you were all missed, but we hope you will be able to make it next time

Now I've gotta read everyone's posts and find out how the rest of the day's events turned out

I have to say, POOPS was the first event I've attended where EVERYONE was so friendly! Even the people I'd never met. Had a great time getting to visit with everyone.

I would like to clarify that when I said I didn't want the quilt, I MEANT that I felt like I'd had my fair share of winnings and wanted someone else to have the quilt... Barnswallow...

Hey thank Mike for that! I was sitting there with Betsy telling her how unlucky I am, and how sad and pointless my one little ticket was... And Mike left and gave me all his tickets! And he's not even a BYC member, just a frequent auction goer who supported our event. Thank you!!

I can't believe I missed the entertainment!!!

They can have treats at about any age, just don't over do it. Also, giving them treats is not the only way to tame them... simply spending time with them, and holding them is all that's required.
I have BTW Japs and they do fine in the winter.
I, personally, do not vaccinate because I believe it leads to weaker birds. If the chicks are human-raised I will give them coccidiosis medicated feed until they are 6 weeks.
