Monty, if I had any idea what all you guys had planned for the entertainment, I couldn't have been dragged away before time!

I surely hope there's vidoes!
You are welcome!
I talked all day long, but I feel like I hardly got to spend more than 10 min with anyone person

oh yes there are video's. We just have to wait for Q & Carolyn to make it home. I forget who else was recording. It was a site to see Grace.

Greybear, glad you guys are home safe & sound! Tell your wife I enjoyed visiting with her!

Betsy,
As I was trying to decide where to put various birds last night, I thought to myself, "pretty sure the partridge silkie that Jaxon got from Betsy is from a NPIP flock and won't need to be tested."

It was nice to meet you. When you have some time, would you mind explaining the curved spine/sleep deprived connection? I only caught part of the discussion and it made me wonder later whether I am harming my birds physically by keeping a light on all night in the winter, to keep them laying.

nnbreeder - I talked Monty into giving me some of the extra copies of your paper regarding diagnosing and medicating birds. I will mail them to members of the Okies in BYC who were not able to attend POOPS. (check my new signature line for information on obtaining a copy of the great reference guide Les prepared)

It is an excellent, well researched, reference guide and I am grateful that you put some of your knowlege in one place so that I have a handy reference - just need to put my copy where I can always find it.

Thank you for the picture of last Spring and this Fall of the POOPS activities. You can tell Al was in the military by his attention to detail and planning skills - he really had that KOA circle by the clubhouse and all the events organized.

I agree, I have really enjoyed reading my copy... of course I'll have to read it a few more times to absorb all the information you put into it!

thank you nnbreeder and grace for the helpful info! We have spent time each day handling each chick and the brahmas still hate it. Anyways.
Grace, you're going to the newcastle show? I'd like to take caitlin so she can see how they run. Where in Newcastle and what time is it?

We are home and have all the birds squared away and now I am ready to crash!!! I must say that I had a great time at POOPS and was sad to see it all end!!! I hope that everyone else enjoyed this as much as my family and I did!!

Great job on POOPS everyone! Yes, the entertainment was certainly "special"! I think I may have seen Teach and Quenston invent some new dance moves up there!

osulops - don't worry about your little brahma chicks not liking you - I have several breeds in my flock, and as chicks their personalities seem to change. Some of the ones that weren't friendly as babies are easier to handle as they mature.
