I would have loved to have seen that! I am cracking up at my own mental image of a tall Mr. Ducky!

I too want to thank everyone for making this such a kid friendly event. Jaxon went home Saturday night with PaPa and crashed and burned. He was running some fever Saturday night, but I think part of it was that he was playing so hard he didn't want to stop to eat or drink. He insisted on going back with me Sunday morning and had fun playing with the boys and girls who had spent the night. Ya'll have wonderful pre-teens who will put up with a 6 year old who wants to hang out with the big kids.

Barn Swallow, your son was so sweet to play in the dirt all afternoon with Jaxon and help him find birds that were for sale for the amount of money he had in his pocket. You are raising a kind young man.

Some friends of mine came by in the afternoon and after seeing all the kids were sorry that they had left theirs at home. I suspect all the kids (and adults as well) had fun seeing all the birds, playing games, watching their numbers for the raffles, etc.

Sooner, I don't need the towel back. I just felt bad that she put it in there. I make them all the time for gifts so I can make some more of them. Glad you liked the basket. The bear will start to lose the scent in about five to six months. Just take a blow hair drier and lightly go over it and the scent will come right back. Not to much are you melt the wax inside the bear. It does that because I dip the bear in soy wax with the fo added to it. Therefore in soaks into the bear and stays.

Grace the show in Guthrie was moved to Tonkawa years ago, three or four, I enjoyed going as it was close to the house. If they moved it back to Guthrie please post info on it as I like to try birds there before I go to Shawnee.

You might ask Darla or Andy Barnes about it at the Newcastle show as they are both members of the club that hosted it.

Thank you for listing where you got the little blue. I am so hoping it is a cockerel as I have some good black hens to put him over but not so much the other way.

Cuban thanks so much on the advice for diluting or elimination of red in a black bird. Our big rooster though is not a pure white but a Columbian pattern and I am going to see if it works!!

I hope everyone that is feeling under the wather gets to feeling better fast. The weather is just too good to be sick!

Hey all you wonderful Okie BYCers,
Just wanted to say what a wonderful time I had at POOPS. Great, wonderful people, awesome food and terrific birds. Thank everyone who worked so hard on making POOPS such a wonderful event.

I am glad everyone got home safe and sorry to hear about those of you who lost birds on the way home. All the birds I got from POOPS made it home but one of the hens I bought from Teach wandered off. I hope she shows back up.

At work today all I could talk about today was POOPS. I had such a wonderful time.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
Rebecca

I think we did have our picture taken together - I love you too! For the longest time I've wondered how Lou puts up with your antics, but after hearing the story of how much she loves to kill chickens, it makes more sense!

I'm so sorry, Stray...and it seemed Aimee was really happy about those birds. (Not that I have any favorites out of your flock, but I'm glad the beautiful golden laced Polish that you got at POOPS made it home!)
