Quensteon Congrats on winning the quilt,or condolences Lol. I was trying to hurry and get it done in time ,so its not one of my purdiest ones!

I have a scratchy throat tonight,hope it goes no further,I got scheduled today for another heart cath at the end of Oct! Last one ended up witha triple bypasss,which turned out to be the least of my worries. They cut my diapghram and that left me disabled.

Now there is great concern over having to put me out again! Oh well its a month away so lots of eggs can hatch between now and then!

I do soaps, soy and palm candles, scent stones,scented ornaments,soy scented animals ( Have to find a turkey and chicken before Spring poop to dip) and plasma cutting. Plus a few other crafts like egg craving,knitting,sewing,etc. My newest thing is I am gathering turkey and chicken feathers to see if I can make a picture of a Angel out of feathers and a half egg shell for the face. I also make baby items for new mothers or for gifts. Aurora has a two month old sister and her mother is nursing her. So, I am making nursing caps and baby slings that allow Mothers to nurse babies but be covered up or to nurse baby while they are in the sling and Moms hands can be free. I also make lap throws and children blankets out of fleeces and do a blanket stitch and crochet around the edges.

Don wants me to tell you guys about my feather gathering.
Friday I was putting the turkeys up for the night,gathering feathers as I went. I saw a chicken with his butt sticking out of a brush pile. I thought my husband had found another rooster that my dog killed and put him in the bush pile to burn. They were pretty long dark green feathers so I reach down and pulled out a handful. I am not sure who was shocked more me or the rooster because he wasn't dead. He was hiding from another rooster that was picking on him.
I felt like a monster and the poor rooster must have thought it a pick on me day. And Don was dieing laughing at my scream and the rooster squawk.
Don said that will teach roosters to hide their butt when I am around.
