It IS GINORMOUS!! We just got back yesterday evening!!
This year we drove up Thursday evening ( it's 4 hours from Miami) and checked in to our cabin on the lake. And the boys headed for the dock to fish!!
Friday we went to the swap and walked and walked and walked! The last time I heard how much acres it covered was 37. BUT they have added more since last year. You could spend ALL day there and never see it all.
The boys fished Friday evening and Saturday morning and ended up catching 50+ crappie. They are wanting to know when we get to go back.
After they decided they had better take me to the swap before we had to rushed back to town for a football game. We headed to the swap there was double the vendors and buyers as there was Friday.
There was all kinds of birds!! Pigeons galore, I told Shaun that Teach would be in hog heaven with all the pigeons we saw. We saw cochin looking pigeons, and ones that had lion manes. Big one and little ones!!
We was looking for boer goats but we didn't find anything that would fit into our herd. We saw some beautiful nubians but of course when I finally decided I wanted them they was GONE!!
I also found a huge beautiful pair of blue laced red wyandottes. BUT she said she had bought the Thursday evening and they was NOT for sale!!
So that means we are going to have to go up earlier in the spring!!
They have added one in April. We could all rent cabins where we stay and head to the swap during the day and fish in the evening.
we stay at the Rock Harbor Resort in Sunrise Beach Mo. They have 1-3 bedrooms cabins and motel rooms. Or those that wanted to sell birds you can camp at Jacobs Cave.
Neecy
Neecy how much did it cost to stay in the cabins there? Sounds like you had a blast!!
