Good morning everyone woke up to some pretty heavy frost on the pumpkin!! I hope everyone has a great day I am headed to the auction and then to home to build a coop!!!! Stimp I know how you feel, I am diabetic myself, we were at McDonalds and I went to the unsweet tea bucket and then put my sweetnlow in it and after my dinner of a grilled chicken salad my sugar had gone up to 488 and that has taught me a lesson check before you drink!!! Have a great day ya'll!!!

Q what auction?? or should I say where?

Let Lynneia know we will be at Fayetteville and Madison can't wait to see her!

Good Morning all.

I laughed WITH ya;ll about Al and his daughter. I raised 5 girls and 2 boys thru teenage years. (4 girls are mine the rest my Ex's). Boy was that a trip. I have a story that the kids dad told a few of the boys and boy did their eyes get very very wide. It entails a hammer, a shovel a bale of hay a match and 2 rail road spikes. Of course the dad and the boy wanting to go past nice.

I lost 3 chicks, 4 poults to the weather. I have 2 cochin cocks in the house right now, Boo is doing pretty good, just a slight cold but little whitey he is not fairing to well. He is barking alot. They are both in there in the living room watching some cartoon.

The sun is shinning finally.

Hubby just realized they got us too on his vehicle... any hoot he woke our daughter this morning to tell her what happened and Aleisha was very serious when she said... well moms right its time to break out the pullet gun... dad was like huh... and he goes you mean PELLET gun... I dont think we could shoot at folks with a bunch of flying young hens... lol

Good to hear from ya Stimpy! ARe you going to get that grandson of yours out there to help ya re-build??? Any chance he likes chickens?

3 weeks ago this past thursday, I had not collected eggs like I should have and they sat out in the nest boxes for a few days. Lynn brought them into the house, I was just gonna toss them back to the birds well the incubator was almost empty so I thought. I thru them into the bator, 36 of them. Well I am at 98 % hatch right now. Gotta love mutt eggs.

Actually, he has to spend the day with his mom. If he was here tho, he wouldn't be much help. He'd grab that dog and go hunting. I wouldn't see him again til this afternoon. I guess I'm on my own today.
