City - I like how you're not giving people options. If your name gets on that list, you are bound by contract everyone! Lol. And ya I'm going, unless some strange happening prevents me! And hopefully I will bring company with me...

Evening All!!! I have a friend in Bartlesville that has about 40 young hens for sale (this years) most of them ar Americanas, with some black and some red sexlinks also, there are also a couple of nice Americana Roosters, she is asking $5 each take one or take all and to be cuahgt and picked up in Bartlesville. If anyone is interested in information or any of these birds please contact my email at [email protected] , she would like them gone asap due to marital problems. thanks, Lynn

Madison could go ahead and try showmanship, but just not get her hopes up too high. I entered showmanship at the first show I ever went to, as did Sherri's (Dandellion007) two girls. I mean, you can't plan on "winning the whole thing" on your first try, but it is great to get in that practice!

I will not be at the Fayetville show, so I don't know how I could get that rooster... I would still like to see pictures just in case

I finally took picture of the Birchen Modern Game pair that we picked up at the Idabel show. The roo wasn't cooperating too well and kept running out of the photo shoot.

Edit:

The hen isn't bigger than the roo just my bad crop job!

Hi everyone,
Going to have to ninja post then get to bed. It seems like life after POOPS turned totally crazy. Had to dump $800 in my truck, been pycho busy with work, internet has been hit or miss and the cold weather (well it sucks). Then this weekend we got hit by ??? and about 15 of my chickens are gone. No feathers, no bodies, nothing!!! Uli and I have decided to move the coop closer to the house and in a more visible place. I am just sick right now over this and am just not sure I can do this.
On a brighter note, of the polish crested I purchased from Atwoods. I got some amazing birds. One is a black crested white, another is a lavender splash (for lack of a better term), another is a really pretty pale buff with an incredible buffont hair do that would make any granny proud, a red crested and a golden laced pair. I also ended up with two white cochin chicks one for sure is female the other ???. I also got a white americana that looks to be a pullet. Now if I can just get some place safe built for them that would be great.
Hoping everything will calm down so I can spend a bit more time on BYC, I miss all of you something fierce. Did not have time to read many post, just enough to start making plans to go to the Shawnee showing (which is only 20 minutes from my house)

. Hope everyone is doing wonderfully. Talk to you all later.

Q, I love living in SE part of the state, but there is very little here as far as poultry auctions or shows. In other words there is nothing fun here either when it comes to chickens.
