Yep your right, gotta stop trusting memory.

Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black, 25% Splash
Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black

Blue X Splash = 50% Blue, 50% Splash

Black X Black = 100% Black

Splash X Splash = 100% Splash

Splash X Black = 100% Blue

That bites, yeah they were kept inside still. We just moved their siblings out this morning. They are fine so far, but they are in a coop and run with lots of bedding. I can incubate some more for you in the spring if ya want?

They are still just as pretty as the last time I saw them

I've been lookin over photos of these modern games and to me they just look odd. Maybe when I see them in person I'll think differently but I dunno, those long legs just set me back a bit. I'm not sure why the developers of modern games would have went for the long legged look, is there a purpose??

Modern Games were developed (across the pond) purely for show/exhibition purposes based on breeder interpretation of the breed standard. This occurred after certain unmentionable activities were outlawed across the pond.

They are available in standard (though rare) and in bantam.

Stimpy, glad you are feeling better!

I was worried. I know some of the stuff that can happen when blood sugar levels get all wacky. Had folks close to me affected by it.

Actually, I was sitting next to a co-worker during the POOPS auction and it took him awhile to realize his phone was "ringing" because it makes a duck sound.

Haha, I remember that one!

Al,

I like her. In fact, I already have her in a pen with a grandson of that cock I got from Terry Britt. If she throws some really great cockerels, I might try to cross them with a BR hen to see if I can get a BR cock with a decent tail. Maybe I'm just dreaming.

Good morning Okies,
Looks like I logged out of the laptop last night, but neglected to log out of the other computer so it appeared like I was on all night. I got some sleep - really, I did!

Thanks for the black, blue, splash percentages. I had some Americaunas a few years back in those colors and recalled that there was some wonderful combination that I was supposed to do using the black roo and the splash hen, but never got everyone separated to create the blue group. They were some birds I bought out of the back of a truck at the Duncan show in November and then picked up more from the Texas breeder at the Shawnee show in December.... again from the back of the truck.

Back in 2005, they had a poultry show in Duncan the weekend after Thankgiving. The past few years, that weekend in Duncan has had a rabbit show.

Do they still have poultry shows in Duncan at the Stephens County fairgrounds?
