morning okies, looks like a beautiful day here, had an 'interesting' experience, the guineas were on the porch yesterday - murmuring about something and keeping a close watch on the sky- the roo and his girls in the pen, but the roo was really on alert, and the Als LB were in the pen next to them- well, i have learned to trust those guineas, so i went out and looked, roo suddenly growled and the guineas froze- i look of and there is a pair of hawks, very annoyed i was there i think, took off complaining, too close to my flocks! glad they are all in covered runs!

Teach- you know, they were originally a food animal raised in south america? course, can't imagine eating them myself, but thats a cultural thing..

well, off for my second cup of coffee, and feed and water everyone- have a great day!

What breed is the dog and what are you feeding her?

The reason I ask is because I had to change dog food. I have a Shar-Pei that started developing allergies. I did take her to the vet and she got one allergy shot. She was losing hair and starting to get rubbed spots. It did not look nice. After doing some reading about food additives, we changed food and she hasn't had another shot. This was a couple of years ago. You might read up on the different ingredients of your dog's food.

If you want to know some of the things I have learned, PM me.

Morning Everyone,

I actually have woken up to a still clean picked up house... know what that means? I can BAKE! Cant bake unless my house is clean... I have been diagnosed by my Therapy DR with having OCD with a tendancy to be Impulsive... Does that mean I like things clean and Just DONE? Anyhoot woke up from another Chicken dream... ok guys this is getting ridiculous and making me wanna get more chickens... Which I already have enough... 32 chickens already on this farm! Plus 5 Turkeys, 2 Geese and 1 Duck, 2 Goats 1 Pony 2 Dogs, 2 Cats... the Dreams need to move toward obtaining cows then I think I might feel complete.. HA HA H A

So what are you all up too? Anyone still trying to pain their coop like we are? We have the outdoor paint done just needing to get the trim on the darn thing painted then we should be good, although I am sure we will find something else needing to be done on the darn thing...

Another Point Of Bulletin .. If you guys could keep our family in your prayers... I know last night I mentioned about Kinship care and for those of you not keen on the term its pretty much foster care but with family... Without too much detail but for the past 2 years even while the hubster was deployed for 15 months we have been in the process of trying to get placement of Jasons sisters children with us(they live in CALIFORNIA), but because of the sensitivity of the case and the well being of everyone involved its been a long drawn out process that has caused heart ache, and the exercise of patience like you wouldnt believe... But I praise the Lord for that... Recently there was a ruling and right now Jason and I are trying to keep up with all thats going on with that with hopes Lord willing we can bring 2/3 children here, but if not Jason and I and our own two kids(13 and 9) have talked for a long while that we would be willing to open our simple home to a child in need right here in OK since we want to see something positive come out of what is such a heartbreaking situation.. So again if you could keep us in prayers over the next month or so(another court appointment is set sometime in Novemeber) it would be most GRACIOUSLY APPRECIATED

Ok well I have yapped enough for today. Chat with you all later.

JEANNIE
